Global Report: Cancer – It’s everyone’s business
UICC and Bupa have produced the report Cancer – It’s everyone’s business that sets out the value of putting cancer-related initiatives at the heart of employee wellness programmes. We show how cancer NGOs and civil society organisations can work with businesses to improve the health of their own employees, and raise awareness of the importance of early detection, screening and prevention. We focus in particular on smoking and breast cancer, where there is a clear business case for supporting workplace programmes as well as highlight other areas where action in the workplace can make a real difference. For example, supporting people living with cancer to return to work.
