How to use the ICCP portal and its resources for NCCP development?
Since its relaunch in May 2025, the ICCP Portal features key resources for cancer planners in user-friendly guides along the cancer planning process. For each topic you can access key messages and resources. The introductory guide on "Developing an NCCP" aims to help you access the foundational aspects for the development of a cancer plan. A guide on “Implementing an NCCP” highlights the strategies for effective NCCP implementation and the guide on “Monitoring and evaluation” describes effective monitoring and evaluation processes. All the guides include relevant resources for cancer planners.
Map of plans
The map of plans features national cancer control plans and non-communicable disease plans as well as WHO cancer and cervical cancer country profiles. In addition to serving as a repository of publicly available plans the interactive map showcases the comprehensiveness of national cancer control plans on 13 cancer control domains. The data on the map is regularly updated.
