Description of the campaign:
The "Smart Swaps" campaign (part of the Change4Life campaign) encourages families to make healthy changes to their diet by making a "Smart Swap" when they shop. The campaign included a TV ad in January 2014 and also includes weekly emails with tips and recipes, a Smart Recipes app with special swap recipes, shopping lists and reminders.
Examples of smart swaps:
Sugary drinks to sugar-free drinks
Sugary cereal to plain cereal
Whole milk to semi-skimmed milk
Semi-skimmed milk to 1% fat or skimmed milk
Butter to lower-fat butter or spreads
Cheese to reduced-fat cheese
