A third edition of the Cancer Planners Forum, will take place from 19 to 21 May 2027 in Geneva, Switzerland, in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), and the and the International Cancer Control Partnership (ICCP).

Building on the first two Forums, the 2027 edition will focus more closely on the practical challenges of financing, implementing, monitoring and sustaining National Cancer Control Plans. It will bring together approximately 75–80 government-appointed cancer planners, combining continuity from the 2025 and 2026 cohorts with participation from around a dozen new countries. Senior representatives from UN agencies and other organisations supporting cancer control planning and implementation will also take part. As in previous editions, the programme will feature country experiences, expert insights and extensive peer-to-peer exchange.
