Eswatini officially launched its National Cervical Cancer Elimination Acceleration Plan 2024–2030 yesterday. The new plan is structured around six staregic objectives aimed at reducing the burden of cervical cancer in the country:
- Strengthen health system governance and coordination
- Scale-up HPV vaccination
- Increase coverage of cervical cancer screening
- Improve access to treatment and palliative care
- Enhance monitoring and evaluation systems
- Promote multisectoral collaboration and sustainable financing
