South Korea has approved its 5th Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan (2026–2030), outlining a renewed national strategy to strengthen cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship. The roadmap focuses on four priorities: improving early detection, reinforcing regional cancer care systems, enhancing long‑term survivor support, and accelerating cancer research through advanced AI‑driven infrastructure.
