The National Cancer Control Strategy of the Gambia

A newly uploaded National Cancer Control Strategy 2045–2029 for The Gambia has been added to the ICCP Portal, providing a comprehensive blueprint for strengthening cancer prevention, early detection, treatment and palliative care. 

The strategy outlines evidence‑based measures across the full cancer control continuum, emphasising improved surveillance, research, and integration of cancer activities into broader national health and socio‑economic plans. It also highlights equity, community participation and coordinated leadership as guiding principles for implementation
