Cervical cancer patients often face significant barriers to receiving high quality, multi-disciplinary standard of care therapy due to socio-economic factors and failures in the health care system. We hypothesized that developing evidence-based quality metrics for cervical cancer and tracking adherence in a large tertiary care medical system would allow identification of systemic issues that can then be addressed to improve quality of care and patient outcomes.
